We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Officer / Lawyer to manage legal documentation, contracts, compliance matters, dispute resolution, and recovery cases within a dynamic real estate and commercial environment. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of UAE laws, excellent drafting skills, and experience handling tenancy disputes, legal recovery matters, and regulatory coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Document Control & Legal Records Management
• Review, organize, and securely maintain all legal documentation and records.
• Ensure landlord, tenancy, and third-party agreements are properly filed, tracked, and updated.
• Monitor document expiry dates, renewal deadlines, and compliance records.
• Support preparation of legal documentation required for audits, investigations, and government authorities.
• Maintain accurate legal databases, case logs, and document archives.
2. Contract Drafting & Legal Risk Management
• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize various legal agreements including:
• Tenancy agreements
• Commercial leases
• Service and vendor agreements
• MOUs and NDAs
• Partnership and commercial contracts
• Ensure contract templates remain legally compliant and updated in line with UAE regulations.
• Identify legal and commercial risks within contracts and recommend protective measures.
• Collaborate with internal departments to customize agreements based on operational requirements.
• Provide legal opinions and support on contractual disputes and obligations.
3. Client Coordination & Administrative Support
• Meet with clients and respond to legal and contractual inquiries professionally.
• Coordinate with prospective clients regarding documentation and agreement requirements.
• Prepare invoices and follow up on outstanding payments and documentation.
• Maintain professional communication with stakeholders, tenants, and external parties. 
4. Legal Compliance & Regulatory Coordination
• Stay updated on UAE laws and regulations relating to:
• Real estate
• Labour law
• Commercial law
• Civil procedures
• Ensure compliance with regulatory authorities including:
• Dubai Land Department (DLD)
• Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA)
• Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation (MOHRE)
• Relevant free zone authorities
• Prepare legal reports, compliance summaries, and case updates for management.
• Assist with company licensing, renewals, registrations, and liquidation procedures.
5. Expire Contract Collection & Recovery Follow - up
• Identify expired contracts requiring renewal, collection, or legal follow-up.
• Coordinate with leasing and commercial departments regarding overdue accounts.
• Draft legal notices, payment reminders, and pre-litigation communications.
• Recommend escalation and recovery strategies where amicable settlement is unsuccessful.
• Monitor recovery progress and maintain proper follow-up records.
6. Cheque Bounce & Recovery Management
• Handle bounced cheque recovery procedures through appropriate legal channels.
• Prepare legal notices, complaints, police reports, and court documentation.
• Coordinate with finance and sales departments regarding reconciliation and outstanding liabilities.
• Track recovery status and maintain accurate records of claims and settlements.
7. Legal Case Management & Litigation Support
• Manage and monitor legal cases including:
• Rental Dispute Center (RDC) matters
• Civil, commercial, labour, and criminal cases (where applicable)
• Eviction notices and legal notices
• Settlement agreements and appeals
• Prepare statements of claim, evidence files, legal summaries, responses, and supporting documents.
• Attend hearings, expert meetings, judicial inspections, and site visits as assigned.
• Liaise with external legal counsel and monitor litigation progress.
• Ensure timely submission of filings, responses, and procedural documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB or equivalent).
• Minimum 3–5 years of legal experience in the UAE, preferably within real estate or commercial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of UAE laws, court procedures, tenancy regulations, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience handling RDC cases, recovery matters, and contract drafting.
• Excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal documentation systems.
Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of UAE court systems and regulatory procedures.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong problem-solving and dispute resolution capabilities.

Must Have
