Procurement Officer

--DGM Investment LLC (New)--
This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Officer (Tagalog Speaker) based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing procurement strategies, negotiating contracts, processing purchase orders, and maintaining vendor relationships. Additionally, the role involves conducting market research, analyzing procurement data, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing aligned with organizational goals. The Procurement Officer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline purchasing processes and adhere to procurement best practices. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify organizational purchasing needs and procurement requirements
  • Source, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and service agreements with suppliers
  • Prepare, review, and process purchase orders and procurement documentation
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities to avoid shortages
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services according to operational requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier information, pricing, and procurement activities
  • Track and evaluate supplier performance, quality, and delivery standards
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and applicable legal regulations
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with vendors and service providers
  • Analyze market trends and supplier markets to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities
  • Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and priorities. 
    Resolve procurement-related issues including delivery delays, quality concerns, and invoice discrepancies

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
  • Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and contract administration
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel

Must Have

  • 2+ years of Facilities Services experience
  • Minimum 5 Years experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain role
  • Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems
  • Understanding of contract management and legal requirements

Nice to have

  • Experience in cost analysis and strategic sourcing
  • Understanding of local and international procurement regulations
  • Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance metrics
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
